This gap tool is focused on addressing core competency deficiencies in the bioindustrial manufacturing sector and facilitating entry and progression within the workforce. It achieved its primary objective of performing a gap analysis of skills needed in the workforce through collaboration with stakeholders such as students, educators, industry representatives, and non-profit organizations dedicated to workforce development.
